This approach offers significant economies of scale, with finished bathroom pods pressure-tested and inspected in the factory before being stored for convoy delivery to site.
Bathroom pods can be efficiently craned and wheeled into position on site - often at rates of five or six pods per hour - and the ease of the hook-up procedure means that on-site plumbing work is minimised. When required, a full on-site hook-up service can be provided by experienced RB Farquhar installation teams.

Travelodge has commissioned over 14,500 prefabricated bathroom pods in twelve years from RB Farquhar, while we have supplied over 4,000 pods in the same period to Express by Holiday Inn, as well as to many other leading hotel groups.
The advantages of prefabrication are equally attractive to developers of luxury hotels, who appreciate the superior, factory-inspected finishes and elimination of on-site breakages and theft, especially of expensive, top-of-the-range sanitaryware, ceramic tiles and brassware.
