The custom-built RB Farquhar assembly plant in the Czech Republic incorporates many manufacturing features which are designed to enhance the overall quality of workmanship. Plumbing components, for example, are bench-assembled in workshop conditions in the plumbing pre-kit area, as are certain joinery components like bulkheads and bath panels.
Ceramic tiling, grouting and sealing are carried out on the assembly line by skilled tilers who also work from raised, fully-equipped workbenches.
All pods are continuously inspected at every stage of construction by RB Farquhar’s independent factory supervisors, who have the authority to pull any pod off the assembly lines if any deficiencies in workmanship are identified.
Once installed, only a practised eye could differentiate between a factory-fabricated and a traditional bathroom (although one clue may lie in the visibly superior finish of the former).
