Aspire Defence was formed in 2002 in a new initiative to partner the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) in providing 18,000 Army and civilian personnel with a modern living and working environment over the next 35 years. This includes the construction and refurbishment of 11,000 en-suite bedrooms for single soldiers in various locations across England.
RB Farquhar was awarded the contract to supply over 7,000 prefabricated bathroom pods to main contractor Corus Living Solutions in North Wales, where they are installed as en-suite bathrooms in the modules for the new accommodation.
