RB Farquhar is a family-owned Scottish company which has decades of experience in pioneering ground-breaking modular construction techniques.

Since 1990, RB Farquhar has designed and manufactured prefabricated bathroom pods for the hotel, residential, student accommodation and military markets. Today, a new bathroom pod comes off RB Farquhar’s assembly lines every 15 minutes in its new, custom-built production plant in Chomutov, near Prague, in the Czech Republic.

RB Farquhar’s technical design team is recognised as the most experienced in the industry, and the company produces high quality prefabricated bathrooms (fully accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2000) for many different sectors of the construction market – lodge hotels, luxury hotels, executive city-centre residential developments, student halls of residence, key worker and single-living military accommodation.

For decades, RB Farquhar has produced high-volume bathroom pods for leading UK and Irish hotel groups, residential developers and educational establishments.

Prefabricated bathroom pods allow for faster construction programmes and, by significantly reducing the requirement for skilled labour on-site, produce valuable cost savings over traditional construction methods.
