RB Farquhar Manufacturing appoints new Sales Manager
Bathroom pod manufacturer RB Farquhar has announced the appointment of Kelly Fraser as Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland, with responsibility for all the main bathroom pod market sectors.
Kelly joined RB Farquhar in 2001 as a Sales Administrator before moving up to the positions of Assistant Account Manager and, most recently, Account Manager for the Irish market.
“Over the last eight years, Kelly has had wide-ranging first-hand experience of the hotel, residential, student accommodation and defence bathroom pod markets, so I am sure in her new capacity she will be able to make a valuable contribution to our sales performance,” said Managing Director Patrick McDonald.
“And, having just broken into the mainland European hotel market this summer with our recent major contract for City Inn Amsterdam, we will also use Kelly’s extensive product and customer knowledge to support our sales drive into this important new market.”
Kelly believes that RB Farquhar is now well positioned to make a major impact in the mainland European bathroom pod markets. “As well as the central European location of our pod assembly plant in the Czech Republic, we have also recently introduced a number of major production and recycling initiatives in the factory to enhance our manufacturing productivity,” she says.
“For example, our bathroom and shower pod ceiling linings no longer require joints, and this realises labour savings in both the cutting and filling processes,” she explains. “We also now recycle all our fireline board offcuts, which gives us substantial environmental and economic advantages over site-installed finishes.”
